BBN appoints new Executive Director and announces global expansion plans

01/03/10

Global marketing network, BBN, has announced plans for expansion following the appointment of new executive director, Richard Brelet.

Richard brings a wealth of experience to the Business Branding Network (BBN), having previously held the position of marketing and business development director at Munier – a Paris-based communications agency within the BBN network.

Richard will continue to develop synergies and relationships between existing agencies in the BBN network, which boasts a presence in 26 counties across the globe, as well as implementing aggressive growth plans.

Richard commented: “As a result of my work at Munier, I’ve been involved with the BBN network for over six years and I’ve experienced, first-hand, the passion that the whole network has for B2B communications. I’m really looking forward to sharing this commitment to B2B branding with new and existing partners across the world.”

The BBN network enables independent communications agencies across the globe to experience the benefits usually only associated with being part of a plc. BBN provides partner agencies with international business opportunities, as well as the chance to share best practice and to learn from leading communications professionals.

Richard continued: “The network provides a great deal of support for member agencies, including access to a group-wide marketing and PR function. BBN also plan to launch an annual BBN academy, the event will provide partners with an interactive forum to discuss and learn from one another. It’s a really positive step towards achieving our goal of becoming a truly global centre for excellence in B2B communications.”

Richard, who will be based at BBN’s new headquarters in London, is ideally suited to developing relationships, with partners and clients, on a global scale. Having lived and worked in both France and England, Richard is not only multilingual but also boasts a wealth of multicultural experiences.
