SBG&FINEX appointed for launch of Monstermob's Music Channel MobMusic


Media Square plc, the international marketing communications and marketing services group, is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, SBG&Finex, has been appointed as the lead direct response agency for the launch of MobMusic, Monstermob's music channel.

MobMusic will officially launch in March 2006 and will be the first independent mobile phone content provider to offer a full length music track service delivered over the air (OTA) direct to mobiles on 2.5G. MobMusic will be a complete music experience on mobile phones, with 'MobMusic' membership costing just £1.50 a week. MobMusic aims to recruit an expansive mobile community of ‘music lovers’, which in turn will generate a highly profitable and scaleable business.

Monstermob is a leading international mobile content provider which has grown rapidly through the acquisition of innovative content businesses in strategic locations. Its aim is to be no .1 globally in mobile entertainment business by making real inroads into the revenue driving music category.

SBG&Finex, which were acquired by Media Square as part of the Marketing Services Group from Huntsworth in November 2005, focuses on brand building response activity, leveraging brand equity to drive sales. Its work covers a plethora of media including DRTV, press, outdoor, ambient, direct mail, mobile marketing, and retail/in-store promotions. Its extensive client list includes Sky, Hewlett Packard and COLT.
